      <image:caption>Wayne Davies was raised in Selkirk, Manitoba, Canada and has taught and lead in multiple school districts. He began his career in British Columbia on the Lax Kw’alaams Reserve in the Prince Rupert School District before eventually heading home to teach in Selkirk, Manitoba. Wayne was recognized in 2014 as one of “Canada’s Outstanding Principals” by The Learning Partnership. His community work and school leadership garnered him attention from his alma mater, the University of Manitoba which recognized him as a Distinguished Alumnus in 2015. Wayne holds an M.ed from the University of Manitoba and is currently a doctoral student at the University of Western Ontario working on questions of student voice and leadership development. He lives just outside Winnipeg with wife Tess and daughters Kendall and Claire in East St. Paul, Manitoba. Wayne is proud to be a member of the Manitoba Metis Federation. This is Wayne’s first book.</image:caption>
